A little teaser

We wanted you to get a little peek at what's in store for you tomorrow. These little gems are top sirloin filets tenderized and flattened, stuffed with dijon mustard, chopped dill pickle, sauteed onion, carrot and bacon. An interesting combination, nein? Once they are braised and served with plenty of jeager gravy and spaetzle, you will be happy eaters. Libby is making great strides with the torte as well. Can't wait! See you tomorrow.

Novemberfest

Guten abend meine damen und herren! For this months retreat we will again cross the big pond and sample some Bavarian staples. After much research, and drawing from memories of a distant past, we have come up with the following items for your gastronomic experimentation.

First Course:
Selected cheese platter
Brotchen - German dinner rolls - crisp on the outside, soft on the inside
Gulaschsuppe

Main Course:
Rouladen - Braised, stuffed beef rolls
Spatzle - German egg dumplings
Rotkohl - Cooked red cabbage with onion and apple

Dessert:
Raspberry Linzer Torte - From the recipe files of Wolfgang Puck

This gather is planned for November 18th at 6:00 pm. We hope you will be able to join us.
