April Fools!

Are you ready for somehting a little different? I've never cooked veal before but this recipe looks soooooo good.
We'll start with a goat cheese spread with herbs and olive oil on crackers. Then, for the main course... Osso Buco - described as a "meltingly tender braise of veal in a velvety tomato sauce that is the epitome of succulence" - and Saffron Risotto. Finally, for dessert, a four layer cake with whipped cream and berries.
See you at 6:30 on April 1st!
UPDATE:
Here are a couple of pictures from the meal.

HOME RUN!!!

The New England themed meal was a home run! We've been talking about it and can NOT choose a favorite dish from the exquisite meal. The crab cakes were great . The "chowda" was amazing. And what can we say about the brisket? Perfection! The carrots and brown bread were a great compliment. And to top it off the Boston Cream pie was excellent.

Thank you for a terrific meal and great company. It was an amazing evening.
